PRESIDENT OF FONWIP CELEBRATE AND PRAY FOR ALL MOTHER'S ACROSS THE GLOBE

  


The President of Forum of Nigeria Women in Politics, FONWIP, Hon Amb Florence Gbinigie JP join the  rest of the world leaders to celebrate  all Mothers  in the name of the Lord, and wish them a very special Happy Mother’s Day .

According to her, "Motherhood is one of God’s greatest designs. 

"From Genesis, we see that the woman was formed to nurture, to build, and to sustain life. 

"A mother is the first teacher, the first intercessor, and often the first to believe when everyone else doubts. In homes, churches, and in our nation, it is the quiet, daily sacrifice of mothers that holds society together.

"As someone who has walked the path of service in both ministry and academia, I have seen firsthand that behind every strong leader, every disciplined student, every healed home, there is often a mother who prayed through the night, who gave up her comfort, and who spoke words of faith when the situation looked bleak.

"Today, I celebrate you.  To the young mothers: do not grow weary in well-doing and Your midnight vigils and small acts of love are seeds that will become forests.  

"To the mothers who have lost children: your love is not wasted. God sees every tear.  To the women who mother beyond biology— aunties, teachers, mentors, caregivers: you are mothers in the truest sense, and heaven records your labour.

"As Proverbs 31 reminds us, “Her children rise up and call her blessed. May your children rise to call you blessed, and may God Almighty reward every sacrifice you have made in secret.

"On this day, I encourage all of us to honour our mothers—not just with words, but with time, respect, and practical support. 

"And for mothers here, I pray that the Lord renews your strength, guards your health, and grants you joy in every season.

"Happy Mother’s Day to you all. May you never lack peace in your homes, and may your labour in the Lord never be in vain. God bless you, and God bless every mother."

Gov Okpebholo Leads APC Delegation on Condolence Visit to Okao of Ologbo

  Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo led a high-powered delegation of government officials and party leaders on a condolence visit to the Okao of Ologbo, Chief Emmanuel Iyase, following the passing of his wife, Mrs. Mandaline Iyase. The visit, which drew prominent figures from the state’s political leadership, was marked by solemn reflections and words of comfort for the grieving family. Speaking during the visit, Governor Okpebholo said he came alongside key stakeholders, including the local government chairman and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to sympathize with Chief Iyase over the painful loss.
