Esan Agenda : PDP in Edo Central Senatorial District Collapse Structure for APC

Image
The entire PDP in Edo Central Senatorial District led by Senator Engr. Clifford Ordia Has agreed to collapse its structure for the APC. Senator Ordia has once again proven himself to be an exceptional unifier. It is no small feat to galvanize a multitude of people, harmonize divergent views, and align them toward a single, progressive cause. This bold move is a strategic and highly commendable step in the right direction toward actualizing and reaping the full dividends of the Esan Agenda. To those who still indulge in political bitterness and prefer to build their nests in the shadows of the past: it is time to awaken and embrace the dawn of this new renaissance currently sweeping across Esan land. Posterity will only remember those who help build their brother's house, rather than those who seek to destroy it. The time for opposition has passed; the era of collective building has begun.  May God bless Edo State. May God bless Governor Monday Okpebholo

APC and the drum beats of Unity -- By Dr. Patrick Akhere Ebojele.

Image
When President Bola Ahmed Tinubu addressed thousands of delegates at Eagle Square, Abuja, on Friday, March 27, 2026, during the All Progressives Congress (APC) 4th Elective National Convention, he distilled his message into a single, commanding theme: “Unity in Progress: Consolidating the Renewed Hope Agenda.” It was more than a slogan—it was a declaration of political intent and a pointed warning to party members tempted to elevate personal ambition above collective purpose. “Our greatest strength has never been in our size or numbers, but in our unity,” the President said. He cautioned that political parties do not only fail at the ballot box; they falter when ego overrides ideology and when individual ambition displaces collective discipline. His message was unequivocal: the convention must signal to Nigerians and the world that the APC remains strong, united, focused, and future-ready. Notably, that message had already found a deliberate echo two days earlier—not in Abuja, but in A...

When Senator Monday Okpebholo assumed office as Governor of Edo State, he didn’t try to impress with lofty promises or complicated policy language. His message was straightforward: development must get to the people who actually need it. In Irrua, the headquarters of Esan Central local government council, that promise is no longer something to be debated. It is taking shape in clear, visible terms—a 700-shop ultra-modern market that is already shifting the mood and expectations of an entire community. For years, Irrua like many across the state, have been active but limited. Commerce has always been part of daily life—subsistence farmers tilling the land, women selling the produce, small-scale traders pushing the goods, and artisans carving out a living. But the conditions were stunted. Many operated from makeshift stalls, exposed to the sun and rain, managing tight spaces that made expansion impossible. It was an aged system built on resilience, not support. People worked hard, ...
