Families Are Foundation Of Every Strong Society--Hon Florence Gbinigie

 

The President of the Forum of Nigeria Women in Politics FONWIP,  Hon. Amb. Dr. Florence Gbinigie JP, PhD has said that families are the foundation of every strong society

The FONWIP President who disclosed this in a statement to commemorate the International Day of Families 2026  declared that the home remains the first place for every child to learn

"Today, as we mark the International Day of Families, we are reminded that families are the foundation of every strong society.  

"In a world facing economic pressure, inequality, and social change, the home remains the first place of love, protection, and learning for every child.  

"As the President of the Forum of Nigeria Women in Politics (FONWIP) and former Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development I align with  this year theme: “Families, Inequalities and Child Wellbeing," she noted

While  imploring every one   to  commit themselves to policies and actions that reduce inequality, support parents and caregivers, Hon Florence Gbinigie urged them to ensure every child has the opportunity to grow up healthy, safe, and empowered.  

"Happy International Day of Families and May our homes be filled with peace, and our children with hope for a brighter future," she added

Gov Okpebholo Leads APC Delegation on Condolence Visit to Okao of Ologbo

  Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo led a high-powered delegation of government officials and party leaders on a condolence visit to the Okao of Ologbo, Chief Emmanuel Iyase, following the passing of his wife, Mrs. Mandaline Iyase. The visit, which drew prominent figures from the state’s political leadership, was marked by solemn reflections and words of comfort for the grieving family.
