Okpebholo is Poised to develop Edo...As the SSG is Building Bridges in Governance -- Cleric

The Resident Pastor of Bible Alive Miracle Ministry, BAMM Pastor Eubaldus Enahoro has urged Edo people to be patient and pray for Edo government because Senator Monday Okpebholo is developing the state and the Secretary to the State Government Musa Umar Ikhilor Esq. is building bridges in governance

The Cleric who made the  appeal during the dedication of a  building for the teens of the church in Benin city at the weekend disclosed that from reports of the  developmental strides across the state,  the Edo State Government is on track delivering dividends of democracy to Edo People with the effective support of the SSG

According to him, the Governor and the SSG,  a renowned administrator,   should not be  stampeded by unnecessary criticisms from any quarters.

"The Governor Monday Okpebholo led Government is on track delivering  dividends of democracy and the people will not be disappointed when all the projects going on simultaneously across the state are  completed.

" Let us strongly condemn acts aimed at undermining government efforts through inciting statements and blackmail against the governor and the SSG

"These actions, even though the government believes in the freedom of information are unnecessary distractions and unacceptable," the cleric noted

According to him, Edo people should unequivocally condemn any actions capable of undermining the developmental efforts of the government and shun inciting statements to tarnish the reputation of the hard working SSG.

Pastor Enahoro who is also the Secretary General of Uromi People's Movement, UPM added that the Governor who is very focused on what he wants to achieve for the state has remained committed to ensuring that all promises made are delivered and he urged all citizens to remain calm, patient,  law-abiding.and support the synergy going on among government appointees for the progress of the state.

While urging Edo people not to be deceived by arm chair critics, the cleric said that with a little patience the expectations of Edo people, especially in infrastructural development and other sectors  impacting on the welfare of the people will be met by the Governor Okpebholo led administration.

The Cleric who further maintained that the Governor who has started well on  these good works across the state should not be stampeded and misled because there are laid down processes  and actions to be taken by the administration to achieve its developmental Programmes for the people.

"Edo people should shun the activities of some persons who are instigating the Governor against the SSG, Barrister Musa Umar Ikhilor.

"The  allegations that the SSG is not effective is not only unfounded but very misleading because the success of the government so far are not unconnected with the diligence and pro activeness of the SSG who has operated an open door policy for Edo people irrespective of political affiliations.

" We have received several reports that despite the fact that the SSG is a devout Muslim he has been very accessible to everyone irrespective of religious affiliations," he added.

Gov Okpebholo Leads APC Delegation on Condolence Visit to Okao of Ologbo
