UNIDEL Set for 3rd Inaugural Lecture as Prof. Naiho Takes Centre Stage - By Igbotako Nowinta

The University of Delta, Agbor (UNIDEL) will on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, host the third lecture in its prestigious inaugural lecture series.

The lecture, titled “Brain, Body, and Beyond: Reproductive Perspective of Attack and Defense,” will be delivered by Prof. Alexander Naiho, the Dean of the Faculty of Clinical Sciences, in what promises to be an intellectually stimulating discourse on the complex interactions between the human brain and body in health and disease.

According to a statement issued by the Registrar of the University, Barr. Richmond Omagbemi, the event is being hosted by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Stella Chiemeke, on behalf of the institution’s Governing Council, Senate, Management, staff, and students.

Prof. Chiemeke will also serve as Chairman of the occasion.

The inaugural lecture is scheduled to hold at the 1,000 Capacity Hall of the Main Campus of the University of Delta, Agbor, and is expected to attract academics, medical professionals, students, and members of the public.

UNIDEL’s inaugural lecture series continues to highlight the University’s growing commitment to scholarship, research excellence, and intellectual engagement.

The university has extended an open invitation to members of the public to attend the event.
