2027 : How Surprises Await Strange Bedfellows Politicians in Nigeria - By Eubaldus Enahoro

 

When a revered  general overseer of a Pentecostal Church prophesied that  2027 will be a year of surprises, some people may have  wondered  what kind of surprises is the man of God really talking about which is not common to Nigerians.

In his characteristic manner, not known to be verbose, the cleric simply said surprises await those who are dreaming of unsettling a sitting president that is working hard to give Nigerians the dividends of democracy.

The man of God  was referring to those strange bedfellows retired politicians ganging up in a political party 

These are known persons who have occupied one position or the other and they could not do anything meaningful for those who voted for them.

Instead, they  made life unbearable for the people and according to the cleric they will be dumb founded and surprised with the results of the Presidential election 2027.

For clarity sake, the synonyms of the word surprise include shock, revelation, bolt from the blue, bombshell, blow and astonishment.

Nevertheless,  surprise is a two edged sword because the administration of Bola Tinubu, a man who was in the trenches and on exile from his father's land for his active role to ensure  democracy thrives in the nation is determined  not to disappoint his people 

After a careful study of the prediction for 2027, Nigerians should be weary of such strange bedfellows Politicians who are only interested about what they get thereby making life miserable for the people 

The country   has weathered through all kinds of storms in the past, yet we are still surviving as a nation and the problem has been more of lack of genuine leaders in power.

The Lord Almighty has always been very generous to the nation and there are strong indications that there will be light at the end of the tunnel when the people  rise to do what is right by allowing President Tinubu  consolidate on what he has started across the nation.

Now, with the large army of supporters  growing in the Renewed Hope Partners RHP, and other support groups across the country for President Tinubu It must be noted that right thinking Nigerians are appreciating what the administration is doing so far.

In Edo State, the action Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo has displayed practical governance with projects and policies that are transforming the state into a construction site and a destination for investors.

Edo people are testifying that the Project SHINE agenda of Governor Okpebholo is making an indelible impact on the people and thanks to President Tinubu for his support.

Senator Okpebholo has also demonstrated  respect for political leaders, traditional institutions, and the people in general with his humble style of leadership.

When the mantle of leadership fell on the lap of  President Tinubu and Senator  Okpebholo, they    assured the people that all will soon be well  in just a matter of time.

From the way Governor Okpebholo has  fared so far in  less than a year and six months in office, and the achievements of President Tinubu across the country the people are convinced that these are leaders  prepared  for governance.
