What could be more brazen, more provocative, and more morally offensive than the spectacle of disgraced elements—whose infamous reign dragged Baptist High School Benin City Old Students Association (BHOSA Worldwide) through ignominy, administrative chaos, dishonesty, and regression—now orchestrating the arrest of duly elected members of the legitimate Executive Committee of BHOSA Worldwide?

What could be more seething and outrageous than the fact that a cabal of known antagonists of BHOSA Worldwide, individuals addicted to shady dealings, lies, blackmail, half-truths, and institutional sabotage, allegedly masterminded the arrest of elected officers of BHOSA Worldwide within the sacred premises of Baptist High School, Benin City, on December 15, 2025?

What could be more bewildering than the tragic reality that those who perfected a systematic culture of destruction against the peace, unity, and progress of BHOSA Worldwide have degenerated into conscienceless operatives, now physically hunting, harassing, and intimidating elected executives in a desperate bid to retain relevance, power, and access to resources?

Let it be clearly stated: truth is heavier than lies. No amount of manipulation, intimidation, or legal gymnastics can permanently suppress facts. In this intervention, I deliberately and unapologetically lay bare the truth about those who consciously and willfully reduced themselves to cockroaches—creatures that thrive in darkness, feed on decay, and scatter when light is switched on—simply because they were determined to hold BHOSA Worldwide hostage while devouring its resources with ravenous greed.

Facts Are Sacred: The Anatomy of a Dark Chapter

Facts are not negotiable. They are sacred. And the facts reveal how a tiny, self-seeking band of rogues deliberately manufactured acrimony, malice, suspicion, and hatred within BHOSA Worldwide. Their agenda was never reform, never service, never unity. It was a carefully choreographed project driven by ego, personal ambition, and financial appetite—executed not with sincerity, but with cunning manipulation, institutional fraud, and breathtaking incompetence.

This group did not merely fail; they won trophies in massive, intricately structured failure.

The Embodiment of Incompetence and Desperation

In 2021, the Diaspora/North American Branch of BHOSA Worldwide successfully forced the then President, Mrs. Uyigue, out of the Executive platform due to glaring administrative inadequacies and organizational paralysis. The association was stagnating. Trust was collapsing. Governance had descended into confusion.

Rather than bow out with dignity, the former president allegedly threatened to impose a Board of Trustees (BOT)—not as an instrument of stability, but as a personal contraption designed to retain relevance and influence long after her presidency had collapsed.

Crucially, throughout all general meetings in 2021, the issue of a BOT was never debated, approved, or ratified by the General Assembly. Yet, in a stunning display of unilateralism, the former president allegedly handpicked BOT members, bypassed democratic processes, and proceeded to arrange questionable documentation for the registration of BHOSA Worldwide with the Corporate Affairs Commission.

This was not leadership. This was institutional hijack.

The 2022 Convention: Disenfranchisement and Constitutional Fraud

The 2022 BHOSA Worldwide Convention marked another low point. A significant number of members were deliberately disenfranchised. A deeply flawed constitution was hurriedly adopted under questionable circumstances, ignoring due process, transparency, and consensus.

This brazen act of procedural violence triggered legal action led by Mr. John Ogbovo and others. The courts, after reviewing the facts, ordered:

A comprehensive constitutional review

A formal apology to members

An external audit of BHOSA finances

These were not suggestions. They were judicial directives.

Yet, in contemptuous defiance, these orders were either partially implemented or outright ignored—further exposing the disdain this cabal had for accountability, legality, and institutional integrity.

Electoral Sabotage and the Caretaker Committee Scam

As preparations for the 2025 elections began, a duly constituted Electoral Committee was put in place. Instead of allowing democracy to run its course, the illegitimate BOT abruptly stopped the elections and imposed a so-called Caretaker Committee—selected through backdoor arrangements, without the consent or mandate of the General Assembly.

Shockingly, the committee was headed by an individual, Mr. Nosa Omoregie, who allegedly had no prior meaningful engagement with BHOSA Worldwide at the time. This was governance by imposition, not representation.

When the Caretaker Committee’s tenure expired in July 2025, they shamelessly sought extensions. Worse still, they attempted to alter the amended 2018 Constitution to insert lifetime BOT positions and financial privileges for themselves—an audacious attempt to convert a voluntary alumni association into a private estate.

Members resisted. The General Assembly rejected these self-serving proposals outright.

The Triumph of Legitimacy—and the Panic of the Cockroaches

After the caretaker charade collapsed, the officially recognized Electoral Committee proceeded to conduct elections under the 2018 Constitution. The outcome was clear, legitimate, and unambiguous: a new Executive Committee emerged, duly elected by the will of the members.

This democratic victory triggered panic.

Unable to win at the ballot, the cockroaches resorted to lawfare—filing parallel cases in multiple courts, seeking injunctions, manipulating constitutional drafts, and now allegedly deploying state instruments of coercion to harass and arrest elected executives.

Let it be emphasized: these actions are already subjects of litigation. They include:

Unilaterally drafting a constitution

Creating an unapproved Board of Trustees

Submitting questionable CAC registration documents

Stage-managing a controversial 2022 convention

Seeking lifetime BOT status and financial “retirement benefits,” including 5% of members’ dues

This is not reform. This is institutional vandalism.

A Betrayal of BHOSA’s Values

A Call to Action

This moment demands courage. It demands clarity. It demands resolve.

I therefore call on the Executive Council of BHOSA Worldwide, led by Comrade Amienye Omorogie, to activate all lawful and institutional mechanisms necessary to dismantle the financial pipelines, legal encumbrances, and organizational structures being weaponized by these cockroaches against the legitimate leadership of BHOSA Worldwide.

We must not retreat. We must not surrender. We must not allow darkness, greed, and administrative insanity to prevail.

Let us rise with boldness and responsibility. Let us defend the mandate of the people. Let us burn—not with hatred—but with righteous commitment to truth, justice, and institutional renewal.

The cockroaches must never have the last laugh.
