New Year: Hon Paul Ohonbamu Calls for Patience with Government

 

Edo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Paul Ohonbamu has urged Edo people and Nigerians in general to remain patient and steadfast with the government  in the new year.


Hon. Ohonbamu's call which was contained in a statement in Benin city admonished Nigerians to remain hopeful and patient with Edo State and the Federal government.

While appealing for patience, support, and continuous prayers for our leaders, the Commissioner expressed confidence that 2026 will be far better than 2025.

According to him, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Governor Monday Okpebholo are working round the clock to deliver on their promises.

"As we celebrate the festive season I wish you a Happy  Celebration and a Prosperous New Year, 2026.

"May the new year bring us joy, peace, and prosperity, and may we all be blessed with good health and happiness," the statement added.

Gov Okpebholo Leads APC Delegation on Condolence Visit to Okao of Ologbo

  Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo led a high-powered delegation of government officials and party leaders on a condolence visit to the Okao of Ologbo, Chief Emmanuel Iyase, following the passing of his wife, Mrs. Mandaline Iyase. The visit, which drew prominent figures from the state’s political leadership, was marked by solemn reflections and words of comfort for the grieving family.
