Glorious Vision University Sets To Organize Convocation Ceremony --- By Igbotako Nowinta

The Glorious Vision University (GVU), a tertiary institution of the Apostolic Church, Nigeria, situated at Ogwa, Edo State, Nigeria, is set to organize its Convocation Lecture/ Ceremony on Friday, November 21st, 2025.

According to a statement signed by Dr. Mrs Pedetin Oluranti Afolabi, Registrar, and Prof. Cyrille Ngamen Kouassi, Chairman of ceremonies, the citadel of learning has lined up several activities towards the Convocation Ceremony.

An electrifying Thanksgiving Service was held on Sunday November 16th, 2025, at Pastor John - Aluko Babatope Hall, on the main campus.

There will be a press conference at the Council Chambers of the University on Monday, November 17th, 2025; a novelty match will take place at the University's Sports Arena on Tuesday, 18th of November, 2025, while a Convocation Play will be staged at Pastor John - Aluko Babatope Hall on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025.

The theme of the Convocation Lecture is :"Education, Governance and National Security in an Emerging Society", and the Guest Lecturer pencilled down for the epochal occasion is His Excellency, Comrade Senator Adams Aliu Oshiomhole, former Governor of Edo State.

The ceremony will also include the investiture of the Chancellor, admission of students into first and higher degrees, awards of prizes and conferment of honorary degrees.
