N2.5 b Donation to UBTH: Critics of Governor Okpebholo are Suffering from Verbal Diarrhea - Ohonbamu

 

Edo State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon Paul Ohonbamu has said that the People's Democratic Party, PDP spokes man, Chris Nehikhare and others are suffering from Verbal Diarrhea for carelessly criticizing  Governor Monday Okpebholo's donation of N2.5b to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, UBTH.

The Commissioner in a statement in Benin City said it is clear that the remnants of the opposition People's Democratic Party, PDP in the state are only justifying the pay from their masters by  carelessly running their mouth in the  public space and they have become jesters in the public domain.

According to the Commissioner, since the  advent of the Governor,s giant strides with unimaginable achievements in less than nine months in office, the activities of these blackmailers and sooth sayers, led by Chris Nehikhare have been on the increase.

"They spin out all sorts of concoctions, imaginary and fictitious to discredit every move of the Governor without considering the implication of such actions on the over all interest of the people whom the Governor is concerned about.

"They are running their mouth recklessly, simply because the Governor wants things to be done differently  They are condemning the Governor because in difference from the past administration of Godwin Obaseki,   Governor Okpebholo prefers due diligence, due process, accountability, and prudent management of funds.

" They are criticizing the Governor because he wants the people to be direct beneficiaries of public funds by channeling such funds to projects that will impact on the people.

" From all the attacks on the Governor, including the condemnation of the  N2.5b donated to the UBTH by the Governor to construct a world class Pediatric Centre for the treatment of Edo children  it is obvious to Edo people that these critics are suffering from Verbal Diarrhea which will be cured by the  outstanding performance of the action Governor.

" The wonderful performance of Governor Okpebholo, who is popularly described as Okpakomiza, is the source of their blackmail and condemnation. They are trying hard to reconvert their relevance , but they are failing with each attempt.

According to Ohonbamu,    these characters and their traducers behind these mischiefs and campaign of calumny are however disappointed because of the ground breaking achievements of the Governor  Okpebholo administration across the state.

Gov Okpebholo Leads APC Delegation on Condolence Visit to Okao of Ologbo

  Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo led a high-powered delegation of government officials and party leaders on a condolence visit to the Okao of Ologbo, Chief Emmanuel Iyase, following the passing of his wife, Mrs. Mandaline Iyase.
