Governance: Okpebholo Came to Government House Prepared - By Eubaldus Enahoro

 

The political landscape in Edo state is evolving in an unprecedented velocity with the rapid transformation going on across the state by the Governor Monday Okpebholo led administration.

The Governor is working towards improving the living standard  of the people in the state by ensuring transparency, and accountability of government resources.

It was gathered that  efforts and initiatives by the government so far are making  significant impact on the lives of Edo people and they are rejoicing over the positive changes, which  are however undermined by some members of the  opposition People's Democratic Party, PDP.

An impeccable source in Benin city disclosed that, "the leadership style and vision of  Governor Okpebholo, aka Akpakomiza for the state is responsible for the rapid transformation going on across the state.

"There is no doubt that Senator Monday Okpebholo came into the government house prepared and swiftly he has consistently fulfilled campaign promises to the admiration of Edo people.

"With the progress made, which are visible to everyone except those  paid to criticize every move of the administration, it is important to allow the Governor and his team concentrate and consolidate these achievements, because there are more outstanding  projects to be unveiled soon across the state."

The source also expressed optimism  that the State Government is on track to deliver dividends of democracy to Edo People, adding that the government should not be stampeded with unnecessary criticisms

"The Governor Monday Okpebholo led Government is on track  delivering the dividends of democracy to the people and we strongly condemn every acts aimed at undermining the government efforts through inciting statements.

"The PDP should stop undermining the development efforts of the government which has  ensured that  promises made by Governor Monday Okpebholo are delivered.

While urging Edo people not to be deceived by arm chair critics in the PDP, that could not deliver dividends of democracy to the people when the party was in government, the source insisted that with a little patience, expectations of Edo people will be met by the Governor Okpebholo led administration and they will not be disappointed

Gov Okpebholo Leads APC Delegation on Condolence Visit to Okao of Ologbo

  Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo led a high-powered delegation of government officials and party leaders on a condolence visit to the Okao of Ologbo, Chief Emmanuel Iyase, following the passing of his wife, Mrs. Mandaline Iyase. The visit, which drew prominent figures from the state’s political leadership, was marked by solemn reflections and words of comfort for the grieving family.
