Vox Pop : Edo Residents Hail Governor Okpebholo

Edo people are praising Senator Monday Okpebholo, the working Governor of Edo State, for his project SHINE agenda, road construction and the fly over Bridges at Ramat Park and Adesuwa Junction.

It was the opinion of a cross section of respondents in Benin city that the Governor is doing very well during a vox pop by journalists.

The people are very optimistic that with the two fly-over Bridges, the Governor Okpebholo led administration will surpass the achievements of other past governors.

According to Pastor Sam Ogbe of living word Ministries, Ogheghe, the strategic locations of the fly over Bridges were well conceived by the Governor.

"Though some people did not initially see the importance of the Fly- over Bridges, it is becoming clearer that it was the best decision taken by the Governor.

"The Governor who has the vision to transform the state, deserves to be commended because, apart from the aesthetic value the bridges will bring to the capital city, they will decongest traffic on those busy areas of Benin city.

"Moreover, The governor has embarked on the construction of the old road on Sapele road abandoned by the previous  government after Late Maj- Gen Osaigbovo Ogbemudia constructed them.

The residents of Ogheghe Community are excited with the massive road construction going on in their vicinity and what is most interesting are the underground drainage work that will channel the flooding away from the area when completed.

They  also appreciated the governor for personally supervising his projects across the state.

The  respondents,  including a retired Permanent secretary, Mr. Jude Onubunjo appealed to Edo people to be patient and watch what will become of the state when Governor Okpebholo finishes executing his projects that will make Edo state SHINE again.
